The School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering is composed of four departments, namely Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Mechatronics, Department of Automation, and Department of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, as well as the Basic Engineering Teaching and Research Office and the Experiment Center. Currently, it provides 9 undergraduate programs, 5 higher vocational education programs and 1 Master’s degree program--Mechanical Engineering. So far, it has established a market-oriented Intelligent Manufacturing discipline group that follows industrial development trend featuring to train engineering and technical talents meet the demands of intelligent manufacturing fields.Currently, the School has 151 Teaching and administrative staff, including 10 professors, 40 associate professors, 4 senior engineers, and 79 teachers with Doctor's degrees.

The School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering is bold in innovation and pursuit of excellence, vigorously carries out international Education, deepens the integration of industry and education, and conveys a lot of applied innovative talents with international vision to the field of intelligent manufacturing, establishes international projects with more than 30 overseas universities in Germany, Finland, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the U.S. and Canada, and establishes school-enterprise cooperation bases with Shanghai Commercial Aircraft Corporation , Shanghai Electric Corporation, Shanghai Public Volkswagen, Shanghai Machine Tool Works and other group enterprises. Group enterprises such as Shanghai Commercial Aviation, Shanghai Electric, Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai Machine Tool Works, etc. have established school-enterprise cooperation bases, which provides a solid guarantee for students' growth and success.
